Joint Christmas Celebration 2007 at KJRI Houston on December 22, 2007. Indonesian Churches in Houston (FIBC, IFGF, Bethany and KKIH) have a very festive Christmas celebration where we had praise & worship, christmas drama, and the one of a kind children fashion show. At the end of the celebration Santa Claus gave all of our precious little children Christmas presents.

Psalm 117 states, “Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.” Pastor Robin Gosal uncovers the great meaning that lies within this short psalm. We praise the Lord because we know Him, and we extol the Lord because we have experienced Him.
We all want to be perfect, don’t we? In Matthew 5:48, Jesus even calls us to be perfect because our heavenly Father is perfect, but we cannot forget that we are humans and that perfection is not a stage of reality in this life. Instead perfection is a goal, but don’t let the burden of perfectionism weigh you down. In his message, Pastor Timothy Chang reminds us that Jesus, who was perfect, died for our imperfections and thus we are perfect through Jesus Christ.
Light at the End of the Tunnel
Pastor Robin encourages us with the words of the apostle Paul from 1 Corinthians 1:1-9. He reminds us that we are able to always give thanks because of the grace that God has shown through Jesus Christ. Pastor Robin also asks a convicting question that examines our life in the aspect of Christ’s life-changing grace: How has the testimony of Christ been confirmed in you?
Building up yourselves on your most holy faith. Jude 20. There was nothing either of the nature of impulse or of coldbloodedness about Our Lord, but only a calm strength that never got into panic. Most of us develop our Christianity along the line of our temperament, not along the line of God. Impulse is a trait in natural life, but Our Lord always ignores it, because it hinders the development of the life of a disciple. Watch how the Spirit of God checks impulse, His checks bring a rush of self-conscious foolishness which makes us instantly want to vindicate ourselves. Impulse is all right in a child, but it is disastrous in a man or woman; an impulsive man is always a petted man. Impulse has to be trained into intuition by discipline.
